I'm glad Mike's friend is back for him. He may need someone to commiserate with if Russ is ruining oops running things.

I like Philbin. He would appear to me to be an upgrade over Edgar Bennett. Our OC won't call plays and there were questions about our scheme after he left and McCarthy was kinda charged without being able to get it done without him like he's charged with not getting it done without Rodgers.

I've been talking about this for years. Our offense was dominant for a few years....and it has not been that way in years. It was !uvch more than just the players on the field. The scheme was completely different. Remember SLANTS and CROSSING ROUTES?
Renember YAC? Hopefully, philbin was a huge part of that.

Jason Wilde said that Joe Philbin is someone that Mike McCarthy respects. Mark Chmura and Wilde both agreed that Edgar Bennett is kind of a softy, where Philbin has been know to tell McCarthy, no, that will not work, we need to go this way. In other words, Philbin is no one's "yes man" and will speak up when he sees McCarthy is wrong.

If this is true, and from what I heard, I have good reason to believe it. This is a great re-addition to the Packers ... of course, if he is actually coming back to the Packers.
