I think this just means Special Teams Coordinator is out or entire defensive staff is out.

Other than what seemed like too many penalties I thought our special teams did well. The punting was good. Janis did well as a gunner. Davis did well on his returns, but made a few fair catch errors in my opinion, but overall I think he did pretty good. His return average was quite good I believe.

This is kind of a pet peeve of mine, people acting like they know something super secret when in reality they don't know any more than you or I. I mean, if the guy knows something, say it. If I'm wrong, and this Joe guy does know something, why not say it? This isn't the only person, it seems like almost any online news site/agency does this. Just strikes me as really lazy, click-baity reporting.

I'll go back to my old-man hermit cave now 🙂

I'd be somewhat upset if Zook got canned. We're not perfect but special teams has been consistent this year and it seems like that's been something we've been lacking for years. Not saying we'd get worse with someone else, but Special Teams is NOT high on the problem list.
