Against man/combo, the kid just isnt reading quickly enough. He doesnt suck, he just hasnt had the game reps. Unfortunately, those game reps typically cost games. Somewhat ironically, since the defense is not playing like a playoff caliber team, it is the perfect time to invest those reps.

Hundley did in 6 games what Rodgers took 10 years to do [Win in OT].

I was seriously traumatized by that for like a few days and angry about it for months. Far worse than the Seahawks implosion IMO and complete bullshit that they didn't call that. The contact to the facemask and Rodgers dislodged the ball. It was not a free ball when contact was made. Therefore it should be a penalty. End of discussion.

Hundley sample size.... He's left a big enough pile for them to analyze that it is in fact a pile of crap.

All aboard the Hundley train? LOL. I think that train's conductor would even open his eyes through the coal smoke to realize what a disaster he is. 84 yards passing vs. TAMPA? TAMPA? Are you kidding. That D is TERRIBLE...we're at home, they're in the cold where they aren't comfortable with nothing to play for and that's the best we could do? 46.9 passer rating? Seneca Wallace is laughing.

I said a long time ago Hundley can't play inside Lambeau due to mental reasons. It's too big for him.

Oh, does anyone want to rethink the Pittsburgh game being on the up and up? 🙂 You play vs. Baltimore and Tampa like that at home. You get three EASY passes on the road at Pittsburgh? Hmmm.

Can Hundley lead us at Cleveland? I watched the Browns game today to see Josh Gordon. Myles Garrett got injured so I doubt he plays...Ogbah is already gone from their DL. McCourty got injured but don't recall if he went back in as I was switching to Saints Panthers during breaks. Kizer is AWFUL. Their OL is AWFUL...SD was in his face all day. Gordon was targeted in the double digits and on several long balls. If Kizer could throw Josh Gordon has himself a Randy Moss day with multiple TD's. Still, he had 85 yards facing Hayward after not playing for 3 years. He's going to be WIDE open all day...just hope Kizer misses him like he did all day. Their TE's, Njoku and DeValve are good. Should be a very tight game. We can run on them for sure.

I just want to see us win to bring 12 back just to see the difference in QB play. Panthers secondary is awful.

Will be nice just to remind everyone how much this D kills us. We'll see that if/when 12 returns.

Prior to this year, in 3 OT games [Record: 0-3] Rodgers had 4 drive opportunities and his 2 Turnovers [the AZ fumble and an INT on 2nd and 5 deep in GB territory] led directly to loses. Those drives are as follows:

3 and out -3 net yards-Drive ended: Fumble. Rodgers: 1-2-14, 1 Sack -7, 1 Fumb, 0 Rush yards.
3 and out, -10 net yards-Drive ended: Punt. Rodgers: 0-1-0, 1 Sack -8, 0 Rush yards
2 and out, 5 net yards-Drive ended: INT. Rodgers: 0-1, INT, 0 Rush yards
3 and out, -1 net yards-Drive ended: Punt. Rodgers: 0-1-0, 1 Sack -5, 0 Rush yards

Summary:
4 drives: 0 first downs, 0 points, 3 Losses; 11 plays, -9 net yards, 1 INT, 1 Fumble, 3 sacks for -20, 1-5-14, 0 yards rushing.

Hundley in 1 drive: 4 1st downs, 1 TD, 1 Win. 8 plays 72 yards [not a single negative play]. 0 Sacks, 0 INTs, 0 Fumbles. 1-2-12 and 25 yards rushing.

The sample size is small; but because the results are so stark they are significant. There is [hopefully was] something very wrong with Rodgers at crunch time and as I’ve said before the only difference between GB and NE over the last 10 years is their respective QB play at crunch time. Interestingly, unlike Rodgers whose play degrades in crunch time; Hundley’s play seems to elevate considering his 4th Q and OT of Chicago, Pitt and TB games.

This is not an insignificant quality to evaluate when judging a QB’s upside.
