The long-awaited return of Demetri Goodson to the Green Bay Packers' roster is nearly here. The cornerback will be activated this week.

I think I said this before, and now I’m going to say it again:
Goodson returning does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.
Now some folks are hoping that he could be better than the vaunted signing of House by Thompson.

Goodson was thrown to the wolves last year.
#4 cornerback playing against The other teams #1 receivers, with little help around him, because he didn't know from weekto week who was going to be back there with him.

He isn't coming back to take a starters position, but he has shown he can be effective in nickle and dime.
One of those really good Special teams players who will probably see most of his playing time there.

Jesus , give the guy a break, not like he didn't make some plays last year.

My first reaction is who's spot is he taking? S Jermaine Whitehead? CB Donatello Brown? Other? (CB King to IR?)

And from I remember, Goodson looked a lot like Jarrett Bush... struggled on defense no matter who lined up on the other side, making mental errors trying to do too much... but played very well on STs.

Though looking at the depth, Goodson might be able to get to #4 CB, especially if King is IRed.

Goodson sucks. Decent special teams player pre-horrific injury, now, probably average at best.
