Earlier this year the Cincinnati Bengals offense was really struggling. It looked to be one rough year on O for Cincy who had high hopes after adding Joe Mixon and John Ross to a stable that included Tyler Eifert and AJ Green along with Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard. After two weeks, things weren't working at all. No TD's scored. What happened in Cincinnati?
MUTINY! The players revolted and would not accept their offensive coordinator. Guys got together rioted and OC was ousted.
When bad defense is played in Green Bay week after week year after year who says anything? Is there a single player that is outspoken? Just one? Why is that? As a follower of this team, I've been calling for change for years...why not a single player? Doesn't that tell you we don't have winners in Green Bay? That goes for coaches and players. Winners want to win. Losing is abhorrent to them. Nobody seems to care in Green bay...not even a lot of the fans until all of a sudden.
It's time for a little Jungle fever in Green Bay. (Cincy is referred to the Jungle, or it used to be) Where is a leader? Someone to get change instigated? I'm losing faith in our entire org almost from top to bottom. Not many guys I can honestly say I'm proud of. Where's the fire?
Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."
