The Week 15 game against the Panthers would mark the earliest Rodgers could return.

It'd be real nice to have that first round bye in the playoffs. Clinch that early and maybe Aaron could get a practice game in before it matters.

Latest reports are that the team will probably not designate Rodgers for return.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

The speculation is unnecessary. Here's all ya need to know!

If the Surgery cut/damaged muscle or nerves, or infection sets in, or other set back, the season is over, PERIOD! Now GB may be playing some gamesmanship with the info that is "leaked;" but you'll never know what is true or not unless they think the idiotic speculation is hurting the team. Then 1265 will put it to bed. Remember anything you hear about Rdogers' medical condition that is true is probably a crime! It violates HIPPA!

Whether Rodgers can come back determines on how quickly the surgery heals and how quickly he can build arm strength in rehab. No one knows the answer to this question...NO ONE, so ya just have to wait.

jay glazer just said collarbone was significant break, displaced something and no one knows when he's gonna be back.

it depends on when the bone heals. it could be 4 weeks just as well as it could be 10 weeks or more.

this too

There's no point in putting Aaron Rodgers on the field again this year.
Let him heal completely so he's 100 percent when next season starts.
This team is going nowhere this year anyway.

I know he isn't some miracle worker, but I really hope Morgan Burnett coming back makes a helluva difference.

Speaking of miracle worker ... Aaron Jones emergence could make that bone heal up a little faster. Aaron Rodgers with a running game?

I'm with you though. Today was very disappointing. I don't ever like someone losing their job. That said, I wouldn't be upset at all if Dom Capers retired (ahem) over the BYE.
