As far as the ejection - regretfully its not necessarily the 1st hit that gets the call its the 2nd. And ya land had his elbow in adams neck.

If they want to eject him for unnecessary roughness or unsportsmanlike conduct then make that call. they specifically ejected him for a punch that nobody can find. And there is an official running where it had to be impossible for him to not see Adams turn and go after lane.
