I bet he starts at inside linebacker for them. I think that's a good signing for the Chargers and it's a two year deal. I can't imagine that the salary figures are out of whack on a two year deal.

This is just a matter of philosophy and nothing more.

I guarantee you he starts. For GB, I don't think that guarantee could be made. Good for him.

To tell you the truth, I'd barely even heard of this dude before FA started up, and he got 8 mill guaranteed? Pretty ridiculous.

I think Desmond Bishop will be a starter in this league sooner or later.

I agree, Bishop has shown "It" since the first time he took the field. It'll be interesting to see if he pushes for time in an ILB spot this year.

Was it Bishop who gave up the long TD play in Minny right after Barnett got hurt? Am I remembering this all correctly? lol

That was on a pretty sick cut by Chester Taylor though, if not for that, he would've been done after a yard or 5, because Bishop was on him quite well.

I think he can be a solid starter, although we can't really say a whole lot right now. I mean, how many games has he actually played in? We'll see next season, I think, he'll be in more of a rotation with Barnett I asume.

Show me a linebacker who can shut down a good RB in the open field all by himself every time, and I'll show you a perennial All Pro.

Especially having just come into the game. Look, with what little PT he has had he has made many more positive plays than bad plays and that's an indicator the kid can play.

Nobody walks onto a football field in the NFL and NOT make a mistake here or there. On the play mentioned above he was one step late which is a typical error that happens with guys that aren't on the field more to make the reads and get where they need to be when they need to be there.

It was a good call by the OC who recognized a replacement and a hell of a move by the RB. Let Bishop get in the flow of the game and a little more experience and next time he blows that RB up.

hey hey hey. I'm not judging anything, i'm just trying to remember. and fair or not, that play does stick out in my mind. not the situation surrounding the play, just that it was a big bad play.
