Rodgers pulled that on Bakhtiari his rookie year lol

Last week I was listening to a former Bears player telling these kinds of stories. One guy got stuck with a $34,000 tab too. It looks like several Packer Rookies shared this mess.
For what the Bear was saying it is usually the OL or DL. The WRs or the RBs. It's not the whole team or even the whole offense or defense. This guy called his wife when he saw his tab. It was about $15K

Call it Hazing or building a brotherhood or a long standing tradition , taking advantage of others in such a way is still nothing more than what a High School bully does to a weaker kid. Like rape, it is an exertion of power over the will of another to control/dominate/humiliate so as to feel superior over another. It is a hurtful form of unnecessary behavior like whipping children or the old public stocks . It only serves embolden those with the power to continue the sick practice.

A tradition whereby rookies take veterans to dinner is not harassment, but deliberately running up an astronomical bill most certainly is. This "tradition" of fraternities and sports teams and even workplaces is a cycle that needs to end . The scares that remain from such treatment can remain for the rest of some's lives as a wound that really never healed .

I'm pretty sure it's not a real bill. They have them ring up a bunch of stuff to scare the rookies when they see it. That's what Rodgers did to Bakh his rookie year.

During the game, a sideline interview w/ Bakhtiari talked about this. According to him it was a gag to see the guys reaction when he got the bill.
