My wife and I decided to take a drive " up nort" for the day. We stopped in Saukville Wisconsin at the WalMart to pick up some snacks.
Guess who I saw shopping there? Do you remember the TV show "saved by the bell"?
Well, "Screetch" himself was there. (Dustin Diamond). I said "hi" to him, and he said hi back. I know he lives in Port Washington, so I wasn't shocked to see him there. He's been in trouble a few times and was on the local news for it.
Just kind of funny seeing a guy like that at a WalMart!

Kabeer Baja-Biamilla (did i get that right?) nearly ran me over at Walmart years ago. Turns out he also goes to the same church I had gone to a few times.

Have had a few over the years. Talked with Chuck Woolery in the smoking lounge in the Detroit World Club. Was walking on one of the moving walkways again in Detroit Airport when Noticed a person walking a little in front of me wearing shorts with calves about the size of my waist. recognized him a little later as Lou Ferrigno
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

THE HULK!!!🤣
It just seems weird to see someone like that out doing "normal" activities.
Had I not known that he lived in the area, I probably wouldn't have even noticed the guy. It was 2 in the morning, and not many people there.

So far in my life I've actually met and shook hands with two famous people and been in the presence of yet a third.
First, I waited in line once to greet and have an item signed by the then very HOT NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace. He was very nice to me and all that were lined up to meet him.
Second, Early one Sunday morning many years back , I traveled the 20 miles from my Chesapeake ,Va home to Moyock, NC which is just across the State line. Located there are several stores that offer discounted items not priced as reasonable in Va, (Cigarettes). They also cater to the tourist trade as it is on the direct route to N.C.'s Outer Banks . While I was in the store I noticed a man approaching the register to check out. It was the now late Charles Kuralt of TV news and Sunday Morning fame. I later approached him outside of the store and he told me he was on his way to vacation on the Outer Banks. He was very nice and did not seem to mind taking a minute of his time to indulge me. He shock my hand , then piled into his rental car to continue his trip.
My third encounter with fame occurred back when the TV Show "Dallas" was the rage. I was by luck at a Va. Beach Mall where Victoria Principal was making a personal appearance. I stood within 25 feet of her as she was fussed over by the mall staff. She was very pretty, but also she was very short in stature. One might even say that she was rather tiny .

I've met and talked with so many past Packer players, when I think about it, it even shocks me.
Bart Starr, Jerry Kramer, Ron Kramer, Dave Robinson, and I could go on and on. Sitting and talking with Ray Nitschke for about a half hour was really fun. He let me try on his Super Bowl one ring. Sat and talked with Ron Kramer and Dave Robinson for a couple hours, getting to try on Dave's Super Bowl two ring and Ron's 1961 championship ring.

Zero2Cool (30-Jun) : Dolphins get (back) Minkah Fitzpatrick in trade
Zero2Cool (30-Jun) : Steelers land Jalen Ramsey via Trade
dfosterf (26-Jun) : I think it would be great to have someone like Tom Grossi or Andy Herman on the Board of Directors so he/they could inform us
dfosterf (26-Jun) : Fair enough, WPR. Thing is, I have been a long time advocate to at least have some inkling of the dynamics within the board.
wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
beast (20-Jun) : Hmm 🤔 re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
Mucky Tundra (19-Jun) : One person on Twitter=cannon law
