I haven't posted in a while, but I do check the sites. I have been busy with work, and I have gone back to school as well. I am currently working on a research paper about concussions in youth football. One of the requirements is we create a survey and use it as one of our own sources. Edit- You missed a question. What about a family member? My younger brother had a concussion in HS while playing Freshman ball. That would have been 1974.

He played half the game before the coaches realized it. In all fairness to the coaches he was one of the best players on the team so be played every down including ST so they didn't really get a chance to talk with him. He went to the huddle and was talking gibberish. His teammates that it was his silliness coming out. He went to the opposition huddle once. During the second half he was walking the sidelines but not getting any medical care.

Late in the game Dad finally realized there was an issue so Dad took him to the local hospital. They didn't do much for him but did keep him overnight for observation.
