Well, I think it's a pretty good stat. It means he actually tries NOT to give the ball to the other team. Favre wasn't very careful in that aspect.
And considering that Rodgers hasn't had a decent defense for several seasons now, the ONLY chance we have to win is to keep the ball away from the other team's offense.
Of course some will call that being a "stat whore", and not even consider that it means your QB not only uses his arm, but his brain as well.
Are there times he SHOULD get rid of the ball sooner? Heck YES! But we are all just arm chair QB's. We have the ability to see what the CAMERA shows during a play, while Rodgers has 300 pound linemen in his face, and doesn't have a "birdseye" view of the field that WE get to see.
