I got to mark something off my "bucket list" today! I always wanted to ride in a hellicopter, and actually did it!
The local car dealer had a grand opening today, and gave free rides.
And the really cool part was, I got to sit in the front seat next to the pilot. It flew over our town. It only was about a 4 and a half minute ride, but it still was really neat! I had my video camera with me, and got to record it.
They had 2 copters doing the rides.
I never thought I'd actually get the chance to do it.
I wasn't going to even try, as the line was really long, but my wife knew how much I wanted to do it, and told me to go for it.
It would have been about a 2 and a half hour wait. But they needed a single person (they took 4 people at a time) and called me to the front after only about a 5 minute wait!
