Don Jackson signs exclusive-rights tender

The Packers retain the former undrafted free agent. While the Green Bay Packers ' defensive line remains in flux, their offensive backfield has started to take shape. Wednesday's NFL transaction wire revealed that second-year running back Don Jackson has signed his exclusive-rights tender to remain with the team.
Jackson first arrived in Green Bay as an undrafted free agent out of Nevada. While a broken jaw resulted in his release just before training camp, he returned to the team as a member of the practice squad in September. Jackson earned a promotion to the 53-man roster in October after starter Eddie Lacy landed on injured reserve.
However, that say proved to be short lived. Jackson suffered a hand injury after recording just two carries during his NFL debut. He returned 10 days later to face the Atlanta Falcons and played again against the Indianapolis Colts , but he ultimately joined Lacy on injured reserve.
Despite missing most of the 2016 season, Jackson remains in the Packers' plans. The team tendered him earlier in the offseason, essentially locking him in for the upcoming training camp. With Jackson in the fold, the Packers now have five total running backs on the roster.
Jackson finished his rookie season with 10 carries for 32 yards. His longest run went for 7 yards.

With Jackson in the fold, the Packers now have five total running backs on the roster.

It surprised me a little because I was thinking he meant true running backs instead of both rb and fb so I went to ourlads to see who the others were.

With such a dynamic group as this I am pretty sure Ted won't draft a rookie before the 5th round.
