Hi. I bought a piece of the Pack the last time share's were sold and I have a question out of curiosity. Am I allowed to sell the certificate? I'm not going to because I promised my nephew he could have it when I pass away. And I know there's a form on the back to have ownership changed. But there's a lot of legalize on it that I don't understand. Thank you for your input. 👍

Green Bay Packer stock has only been offered for sale during defined stock offerings. The Packers are not currently selling shares, and shares are not publicly traded. If you want to buy shares today, you must find an existing shareholder who is willing to sell.

This makes sense. Since you own the stock it is yours. You can sell it you can pass it along in a will to whoever you choose. I have season tickets and if I want to pass it on to my son there is a form I need to fill out and notify GBP, Inc. of my intentions. I don't see why you can't do the same. (That way your nephew could attend the shareholder's meeting if he wanted to.)

I wish I would have had the money to buy in when they last offered it.
I know it's really "worthless stock", but let's face it, a lot of people waste $200 buying drinks at a bar, or other such wastes.
