I'm fairly optimistic when I look back on the first meeting. Hard to believe but health wise we are probably better off than we were the first time. Offensively we were missing TJ, Cook and Cobb, Monty, our running backs were, Don Jackson and Knile Davis and Rip. Even without Jordy we are stronger in the receiving end with both Cobb and Cook playing. Running we are better off with Money, Rip and Christine.

Assuming Burnett is able to play we are no worse off defensively than the first time either. Clay was out and so were both Rollins and Randall.

The Packers have taken down Dallas, NY, Detroit, Vikes, Bears, Seattle, and Houston. That's 3 Division Champs, 5 teams with winning records, and the Vikes at 8-8. Atlanta has faced two teams in that span with winning records going 1-1.

The last four teams GB has faced are 41-23. For Atlanta it's 19-45. We are battle tested and ready for the Falcons who have not seen a team playing at this level for a very long time.

The Over/Under is 60 or 61 on most books. Highest ever. Shootout indeed.

16 Dec 24 ATL 33 @ CAR 16
17 Jan 01 NO 32 @ ATL 38

So GB played in atlanta and lost ... barely. ok they beat TB - tb is ok, lost to philly which philly is a tough team to beat at home; beat az which is a decently tough team, kc beat them which kc was great this year expect in the playoffs šŸ™‚, then the last few games they had it really easy ... LA, sf, car and no - basically a walk in the park.

The "heart attack Pack" is taking it's toll on me.
Could we please just have a comfortable win this week.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

I guess he slowed down because he signed with the Chargers, but they cut him after the pre-season. But James is doing a lot of charity work for kids, so I'm sure he's a happy guy outside of football. He's got a Super Bowl ring and a family that loves him. Not bad for a guy who spent the first 15 years of his life living in parks and homeless shelters in the San Jose area. He was a winner on the field and he's a winner by helping our kids. Kudos to JJ. šŸ‘
