The NFC Championship game , Green Bay @ Atlanta , is going to be a Shootout for the ages. I believe this will be so because of the two starting QBs . Each is Smart, Skilled, and possess the heart of a winner. These guys each hate to loose at anything. They both have "ice water' in their veins and are protected by good Offensive Lines. Each is surrounded by adequate players in the remaining offensive skill positions . They will each oppose defensive's that can be scored upon. It will be a high scoring game .

I am saving my prediction for this game, but I would not miss it for all the Corn Flakes in Battle Creek, Michigan. LOL

A warning to the Packers, Atlanta is a great Southern City with the best in Southern Cuisine available, it will be very easy to overindulge , so don't. I'm talking Chicken & Dumplings, Bar-B-Que, Shrimp Dishes, and deserts that add 5 lbs. because you just looked at it. Oh my, do be careful.

I think the Falcons could potentially eat the Packers defense alive. Ryan has been getting his passes off so quickly pass rushers haven't had a chance to get to him... so based on that, the Packers are going to need to play cover 2 coverage and make the Falcons slowly go down the field and run the ball.

Falcons have a much better pass rush than the Cowboys and they're probably going to keep a spy on Rodgers (though I think they said this week that they dislike the spy term... but someone in a zone with the QB in the pocket and then chases them down after they leave the pocket). It'll be an interesting battle for the OL.

I think the Packers NEED Nelson and Burnett back if they want to win this one.

I agree with beast. This seems an impossible game for GB. Ryan is excellent against the blitz and if we don't blitz we know everybody will be open, there's no way our depleted secondary can cover Julio, Gabriel and the others fore more than 1.7 seconds.

The Packers CBs have been fairly good in cover 2 defense as they're getting help over the top. So I think their is some potential hope for the CBs to cover for longer than 1.7 seconds...

But last time I think their best WR (Jones) was banged up... and this time the Packers best WR is banged up. Though Goodson isn't starting at CB anymore either and the Packers got Monty and Micheal at RB now. But Allison and Davis both made plays in the last Falcons game.

But I'm pretty sure the Packers offense can expect to see some press coverage with blitzing as the Packers offense has simply struggled so much and so often with it, that the other teams will probably try it until the Packers can show that they can beat it. And the Falcons defense might be faster than any of the recent teams (maybe the Vikings... but the Vikings DBs weren't listening to the coaches or something).

Sure Atlanta puts up a lot of points. You play the possession game against them & hope your defense comes up with a couple of 3 and outs or fg points.

Atlanta not only has Matt Ryan, they have a now healthy Devonte Freeman back at RB along with a core of WR/TEs led by , IMO, Julio Jones.

I believe the difference will rest again, like last week, with the Defenses. I still subscribe to the quote that says,
"Offense wins games, but Defense wins Championships." What Dallas and their rookie QB did against GB won't hold a candle to what Atlanta's veteran QB and veteran RB are going to do against a banged up GB defense and their thin group of "healthy" CB's and Safety's .

Yes I believe it will be a high scoring shootout and the winner will be the team that gets and takes advantage of the limited turnovers. I'm still not ready to pick a winner yet .

The "heart attack Pack" is taking it's toll on me.
Could we please just have a comfortable win this week.
