BTW, ya still into those "leather bars"?

Back on topic, TO would be a great fit for the Packers.
The quality of leadership and team spirit that he would bring to the table would be fantastic for the Packers.....
...from my perspective. ::wink:

Not no, but F##k no. As a matter of fact, here's what I'd go for. Since Jerry would be all for it now, maybe the commish can consider it.

The NFL should hold a "got rid of your arrogant prick" supplemental draft. If you as an owner pull the trigger and release a jerk-off, you declare him as a designated "AP", and you are entitled to a supplemental draft pick at the position now held by your jerk. Any team that signs the jerk loses the equivalent pick, plus any additional compensation as determined by the fans of all the teams. The compensation could be decided on NFL.com...using a bit more sophisticated version of the soup people's "click for cans" promotion.

"Blackball an asshole" has a catchy ring...Plaxico and Ocho/Chad/whateverhecallshisbigmouyhthesesdays would not like it, but I sure as hell would.

:thumbleft:

I'm just sayin'

Chad is not a prick. He didn't complain about not being thrown to this season. He didn't have a holdout. The reason he does things is for entertainment, and he succeeds as that. TO and Burress are pricks.
This is a placeholder

I agree with you Fin on this one, I like Chad he is entertaining something the NO FUN League frowns upon. I wish more players would try and buck the no fun system so maybe we could see it again.

A little question for others? Why isn't the Leap worth a penalty its using a prop and celebrating? I like it but i always wondered how thye can call some stupid celebration penalties but yet turn their head at ours?

As far as TO HELL NO but i hope he don't goto Minn because i think he will be out to prove something.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Take a leap

In 2006, NFL owners voted 29-3 in favor of giving officials power to penalize a team 15 yards on the subsequent kickoff for excessive celebrations anywhere on the field.

Simple celebrations such as spikes, spins and dances would be allowed.

Celebrations that exceed these limits could draw a penalty, fines or even suspensions.

The Lambeau Leap performed by members of the Green Bay Packers was one major exception made to the rule.

So go ask the OWNERS why

On TO... I normally don't cuss... but no fucking, son of a bitching way...

I swallowed my pride in 96 when we signed a turd in Rison, but that was an emergency in season pickup.. but now.. we have ample depth at receiver.. there is no explainable reason to associate with the likes of this bastard.

Ted, this is not the time to make a move in this case.

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (30-Jan) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.

buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (26-Jan) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.
