Let's say that GB does gun the Cowboys down, who would you rather face in the NFC Championship Game, Seattle or Atlanta ? In either case GB would be the road team.

IMO, GB would fare better against Atlanta than Seattle.

That being said, I would rather play Atlanta for the NFC Championship, and I believe that's how it will play out.

Atlanta is a piece of cake unfortunately I think that big lie is not going further than the divisional game.

Green Bay at Seattle will be difficult, hard to watch, nerve wrecking ...

Seattle is such a brutal road team and Atlanta got screwed on a non call on Julio Jones last time they played at Seattle with Earl Thomas. There is no Earl Thomas...Pat freaking Terrell is no Earl Thomas. Falcons on a fast track is not a good thing for Seattle at all. Atlanta may blow them out worse than we did. My only hesitation on Atlanta is they aren't big winners. They lose in these positions under Ryan.

So, Seattle more playoff success with Wilson but a brutal road team. Atlanta a high flying circus act who fails in the playoffs but is at home. Toss up to me.

There was a great Seattle Atlanta game a few years back in the playoffs at the Georgia Dome. I hope we get one like that and the same result with Atlanta narrowly taking them down so we go there if we beat Dallas.

As for us... that pressure of a 1 seed has waned over the last several seasons...it used to be a 50/50 proposition which is ridiculous.

Here's some concise info on being a 1 seed: (from profootballtalk.com)

Before the lockout, teams with the top two seeds were 12-12 in their first playoff appearances. In the five seasons since then, the top two seeds are 16-4.

From 2011 through 2014, the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds were 3-1 each January. Last year, it was a 4-0 clean sweep, with the Broncos, Patriots, Cardinals, and Panthers all winning at home.

and ya Id much rather play atlanta at home then in seattles crap place ... I watched the lions game and I could barely hear the announcers over the crowd noise.

I think I rather face the Seahawks because I think they're the worst team in the NFC left...

I think the Falcons will win... and sadly I think the Cowboys have the edge... their defense has holes but they're not just gonna roll over and they got some play makers they probably will stop a few Packers drives... can the Packers do the same and win the turn over battle?

That team is no joke.

It won't matter. Packers can't beat Cowboys in Texas (they don't play in DALLAS). Arlington is something like 20 miles from Dallas. 🙂 There's some useless information for ya.

Two weed charges.
One under the influence charge.
No Jordy Nelson.
Going up against the best OL in NFL.
Going up against the NFL's leading rusher.

It's just too much.

Zeke Elliott has been under investigation by the league for domestic violence for I believe the entirety of the season. It hasn't affected him or them at all.

A weed charge for a guy who hasn't played in months, and a non descript WR who hasn't been convicted, plus a drunken driving for a defensive coach? I hardly think Aaron Rodgers cares about any of that as it doesn't affect him at all. Doesn't affect anyone else, either. Those are excuses. No Jordy is a legit excuse.

Remember, last year the Cardinals were a high flying group that kick the living snot out of us in the regular season. Playoff pressure came where Palmer had never won a game and he was tight as a drum. Cards O looked like ours did most of last year until OT. Why are you so certain Dallas is going to be any different with a rookie QB facing the pressure of a 1 seed and facing Rodgers? The first time Dak stepped foot into something new in front of 100k + fans he lost to the Giants. Not so sure he won't suffer a similar fate vs. Green Bay on Sunday.

I watched the TV copy of the game. The Giants lost that game more than the Packers won it. They did execute and Aaron Rodgers played out of his mind, but Giants basically flopped/choked it away.

IMO, it will boil down to which team, GB or Dallas plays the best Defense, PERIOD !
