So we've heard this already and also Joe at PC.com is saying something similar.

Packers Get

Panthers 59th overall selection[/ul]

Panthers Get
[ul]Brian Brohm
Al Harris
Brady Poppinga
Packers 9th overall selection[/ul]

Also Joe mentions this one which I have not heard prior to this.

Chiefs 3rd overall selection[/ul]

Chiefs Get

Packers 9th overall selection
Packers 9th selection in 3rd round
Packers 19th selection in 3rd round[/ul]

The Panthers rumor is for more plausible than the one with the Chiefs. I don't see anyone in the draft that could be an immediate blockbuster player for us and that is against Ted Thompson methods completely.

player trades are so hard to negotiate. add ted thompson to the mix and it gets even harder. Even if these trades are being seriously looked at, I don't see much chance that they'll actually go through.

plus, the contract will have to be negotiated with peppers before a trade happens. i don't see ted paying peppers what he wants.

I doubt either will happen.
Not because Ted Thompson is a "tightwad", but because they arn't real.
Just more guess work by someone.

I know he's about as accurate as Stevie Wonder with a Bow, but apparently this place has some members who like this sort of stuff so I figured what the heck. 🙂
