I think he may have meant meaningless as far as the Packers are concerned but I could be wrong. Although that is not completely accurate either as it could affect who we see in the playoffs as far as seeding goes.

If SF wins it will be 62 to 62; but the NYG will have a tie in week 17 in this scenario, so we win 62.5 to 62.

If Wash, Loses or ties, we clinch WC.

TB is eliminated. [If Wash loses and Det loses 2, Det will have common opponents 3-2 over TB 2-3]

Interesting scenario: If Detroit loses Monday, Wash is in with a win; if Detroit wins Monday, they need GB to lose or they are eliminated. I think Wash will play harder, if they know they're in with a win. Go Lions!

If Washington and New York tie and every other game goes Tampa's way, Tampa finishes with a SOV of .441 (63 wins and 1 tie) and Green Bay finishes with a SOV of .438 (62 wins and 2 ties).
