We weren't so random today, the offense was consistently good, the pass defense was consistently bad but the pass rush worked so we weren't very exposed.
The Vikes always slide, when they were 5-0 I said I didn't care about them and here we are.

The Glass Half Full:

- A. Rodgers: Who else? He dominated the game, he is starting to trust his receivers throwing even when they are covered, he is not scrambling per-se but scrambling to get first downs or touchdowns, he is playing like the MVP he was and the timing for his recovery, if you ask me, is just perfect.
- J. Nelson: Cover me not, maybe. Jordy was perfect today, his routes should be used as film for college receivers wanting to play at the NFL. We didn't even pushed what he could do today and that's something for the Lions to think about.
- N. Perry: Our new defensive weapon: the cyborg! With a robotic arm or something like that he was powerful and he played a solid game, he even made two sacks almost alone. It's good to have you back.
- C. Matthews: Not stellar but solid and he made a very very big play, with Matthews and Perry on the rise our defense is certainly going to improve, our secondary is a calamity so we need the front 7 to shine.
- D. Bakthiari: A recurrent figure, at this point watching him play is becoming even educational, Rodgers doesn't even look to the left when the play is extended, he just knows nobody is coming from that side.
- G. Allison: The forgotten guy, the unknown, nobody, he is just doing what he can do, run beautiful routes and catch the ball, he is not fast but he is very neat, when Adams and Jordy have a good day he is the third option we need to make our offense unstoppable.

The Glass Half Empty:

- H.H. Clinton Dix: Again a total non-factor in coverage but not only that, he is often playing for the INT and not for the tackle or to defend the pass, this is a very bad sign, his collision with Rollins was just a shame of a play he was only looking for the ball even when he took a horrible angle to the play. Don't label me a hater, he is going to be very good but he needs coaching.
- D. Randall: The phantom cover guy, he is almost invisible when covering a WR, even if he is there the passes are completed and he is often nowhere.
- B. Bulaga: Not a good game for Bulaga, he allowed a lot of pressure from his side, maybe Bakthiari is playing so well that we are asking him to do too much but he was weakish today.
- L. Taylor: I can pull him out of this list if some of his plays were specifically designed for him to block no one, but oh boy what were he doing in several plays? Just standing there... maybe he is on a secret training program were his assignment is to just watch David Bakthiari do his job.
- C. Michael: We didn't need a second edition of James Starks but we got one, at this point we can all understand why he is not in the Hawks.

Next: Playoffs start next week for the Packers, we know what happened the last time that was the case... 😁

Micheal is was faster, and his feet are way quicker, than Starks. Glad to see him get reps today.

Clay was big for us today. I hope that continues. This defense needs a more consistent pass rush if they're going to go anywhere in the playoffs and Clay will critical to that.

Clinton-Dix hater got ammunition today. Dove twice that I saw at someone's ankle instead of lowering the boom with some form tackling.

Christine Michael is a solid running back. He just needs to into a groove. That's where Ty Montgomery has an advantage because he can came in and light it up consistently. Michael cannot.

Geronimo Allison was pretty impressive today.

The only way we won't go far is our defense holding us back.
I wonder if the Lions will play or rest Stafford, as Monday's game means nothing now.

Gotta give a shout out to TJ Lang, the man is a damn warrior. Guy barely loses a step even with significant injuries where some guys can't even compete if they get a bit banged up.

Might as well just add in James Campen while i'm at it. It's hard to really judge the performance of an OL coach but I really feel like he's stepped up over the years. I think he became OL coach in 2007 and a lot of our guys on the unit struggled for a few years with him in charge and I got pretty down on him but seeing our guys out there now they are playing with such good technique and fundamentals it's crazy.

Again luigis,another nice job!

Though I thought Randall played well.

And my friends, for the first time since 2015 bye, Aaron Rodgers was playing QB.

He has played in spurts over the last three weeks; but this was the real deal. He stood in that pocket and went through the progressions and it didn't matter how close the DL was to him. He made-up his mind that if he got hit, he didn't care.

There were 2 runs v. Bears where he went for a first and a TD, with reckless abandon. He didn't make either; but it was if he was saying I only care for winning my health dont matter. There is no 1st down or 4 points worth this, he needs to be smarter about this stuff, but that attitude transferred to his play today.

Then came the big test: 2 sacks in a row, not because he held the ball too long, but because the blocking failed. Then on the next possession, first play, a total jail break only 1 OL executed his block, Rodgers rolls out and still hits Allison for 32. Then after a run, it's 2nd and 8, he stood in the pocket like a man, after having just been hassled the last 3 passing plays, he went through his progressions and hit Jordy on deep out. Allison was open on 1st read for 5 yards, but Rodgers could see Jordy had Rhodes turned, he waited a beat and threw a perfect pass on the deep out to Jordy. Then 2 plays later he's juking in open field for TD [again not very wise, but it demonstrates he's lost his fear of getting hit].

Rodgers is back [I hope to stay]. With Rodgers at QB, the only thing that can derail us is wind; next week we'll have perfect conditions and 2 days extra to prepare to quash Lions. Then in GB in 2 weeks, cold and snow is okay [except they need to get treatment for D. Randall], wind not so good and then back to perfect conditions in dome for 2 more wins.

And I agree with you, if you watch the film of this game you really don't want to play against the Packers.

ProFootballFocus says CB Damarious Randall 80.2 grade for the game. That's pretty good.
