Here are a few of the great Christmas Ideas that have proved out over many past seasons. I hope they will inspire you to share your ideas as well.

1] Buy and place sample size bottles of liquor in with presents that you give to adult family and friends. This was a smash hit the first year I did it. Now I've got the others in my family/friends doing it as well .

2] As a Christmas gag, place your gift in something like an empty saltine cracker box or empty mac & cheese box before you wrap it . It will get a big laugh from all. Caution: You may still need to tell the person to open the box, they might not yet understand the gag. LOL

3] Similar to #1 above, place a candy bar or bag in the box with the children's gifts. A Hershey bar or bag of Skittles will not only be appreciated, but they will remember it/you for the special treat. HO HO HO !!!

4] Following Christmas breakfast and before the Big meal (usually between 3 to 4 in the afternoon) a noon snack tray of Cheese, Summer Sausage, Crackers, Chips and Dips, etc. is a family tradition. I is not a full meal, but does serve to see everyone through to the Big Meal /Still with appetites intact.

5] Throughout the day, ALL manor of drinks are available from Cold Beer to Wine to Mixed Drinks. It is less of an expense if your guest know to bring with them Beer/Wine/Liquor for ALL to share.

I hope that this post will inspire you in the Spirit in which it is offered. These are just some of my Christmas ideas/traditions, if yours are different, please share your Christmas Spirit / Ideas as I have done.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Who waits until Christmas to be the only time to get people things? Seriously? I can't believe that was brought up. Christmas is about the thought and money requires no thought whatsoever. It leaves nothing. Again, I won't belittle someone and infer they shouldn't wait until Christmas to be giving, but whatever works for you and yours, is what is best. I, unlike some, respect that. I just have my own personal experiences and life lessons that give me different (not better) values.

I will only say....no, never mind. Christmas is what it is to people. Enjoy it however you wish.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Well....I got my present. The Packers beating the Vikings!
Christmas is to remember the birth of our saviour, Jesus Christ.
That, to me, is the most important thing.

I got to cook a nice dinner for my wife.

Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : It should be halted now.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : usually spambots are trying to get traffic to shady websites filled with spyware; the two links being spammed were to the Packers website
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : you know when you put it that way combined with the links it was spamming (to the official Packers website)
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yep. You can do that with holding down ENTER on a command in Console of browser
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : even with the rapid fire posts?
    Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : I'm not certain it's a bot.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I've got to go to work soon which is a pity because I'm enthralled by this battle between the bot and Zero

Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I thought you'd look for yourself and put 2 and 2 together lol. I overestimated ya ;)
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I thought Guests couldnt post?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : And gosh that's gonna be fun to clean up! hahaa
