The overall Packers-Bears record including playoffs is 93-94-6 Chicago. I have been waiting a very long time for Sunday to get here. On Sunday the Packers can finally even up the head to head series for the first time in a very very long time. I don't know if GB has ever been ahead. If they were is was probably back in the 30's.

In my lifetime GB has won 21 more times than they have lost. They are +22 since Favre walked onto the field in 92. So even with the great teams in the 60's Chicago was able to hold its own in the rivalry.

Despite the bitter cold I will be in the stands with my son when it hopefully happens.

I wanted it to happen last Thanksgiving, with three generations of great Packers quarterbacks present. But I would take it this year, in the same year in which Wisconsin tied the all-time series with Minnesota for the first time since 1901. What a year that would be for football rivalries in the great state of Wisconsin.

At 7pm EST on Thursday the 15th, the projected high temperature in Chicago will be 5*F. on Sunday for the Packers vs Bears .

Will this be the coldest GB game ever ?

Will this be the coldest NFL game ever ?

After this nice stretch of wins, it is hard to see us getting beat by the Bears. If we show up as much as in the same zip code of last week - this should go in the W column.

Our offense put up big points against a defense that is about as stingy as they come. Chicago defense has looked pretty average this year and I don't see that changing this weekend. I think we will see more running due to the temps, but the passing game will be on show as usual. No surprise if Aaron throws 4 TDs. Light up the score board and get Aaron some more rest - no point in making the playoffs if Aaron is on crutches.

Outside of maybe 2-3 offensive players, there is not a lot that concerns me about their offense. If our D shows up and just takes care of business - this game could be out of reach by half time. I think we will see 2 more picks this week and another fumble recovery.

Bears 20

The bitter cold makes the ball as hard as a rock. That isn't good for throwing and catching the ball.

If any team / teams can play in the cold weather, these teams lead the list.

I expect a low scoring, tense, and hard fought game.

Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
