Douglas might be an interesting stop gap for a year or two while we develop talent from the draft at DE.

Well, at least we have the right to match any offer Kuhn gets. I do like the FB duo we have though, so hopefully we'll still be able to keep him around.

As far as the other D-Linemen mentioned, these second-tier guys are the ones usually Thompson doesn't have to much of an issue bringing on board if the price is right. Hopefully we'll at least seriously consider Olshansky.

Olshansky is a good 5 technique DE. He's a lot like Canty, some may argue he's not as good. I see they as about the same.

The other names would be nice to bring in for depth.

But again my worry with Olshansky is we are doing too much dinking around here. He should be TOP priority. So enough with the preliminary talks and get him in here for a meeting and get the deal done. Before long another team will have him set up for a meeting and we'll be in the same situation.

A meeting should be set up ASAP to get this done. After that we need to sign a few of these veterans that can spell guys and add a few aspects so they get some playing time as well.
