No coach would have a prayer with this lot. This is an extreme lack of talent on display.

If we had one solid linebacker they may not be an issue. If only we had a guy like Bobby Wagner...

The Packers are just too banged up to compete, coupled with some players regressing and it is what it is. If Mathews and Peppers were 3 years younger the pass rush would mask some of the injuries on the backend but alas they're just not getting enough pressure.

If Jordys could still burn them over the top..if Rodgers still played like Rodgers...etc

One bright spot is the Packers should get a high draft pick if they keep going this direction. Drafting in the top 10 could get you a Von Miller or Julio Jones type.

We had a #5 pick and missed badly with AJ Hawk.

Now I think we have missed badly with Randall and Rollins. I believe Rollins can be a decent slot CB but I think Randall is garbage.
It took years to recover from the Ahmad Carroll & Joey Thomas fiasco and now we are in a very similar position.

I think currently our low first round picks the past few years haven't shaped up. Considering, you know, we are all debating about why our defense sucks.

The truth is Ted needs more chances. He wants to keep the cap good and get the players without killing the franchise. He has brought us winning after winning season. Give a high draft pick for next year, a high WR maybe, a good CB, you have a chance.
