Yeah, Ted often fails to maximize veteran talent that could contribute to this team, even if only marginally. Watching Richard Rodgers on the field is sooo incredibly painful.

Going back and looking at Davis' career, if it would have been in Green Bay, how many times would he had been called a bust or a wasted #1 pick?

Probably more than Hawk!

At least Hawk stayed on the field, was a team leader on and off the field, and never had to be sent to the locker room during a game.
