Seems.most everyone posting is ready to mail it in.
The seasons over.
I'm not that familiar with who is or who isn't available.

I do know that if a change is going to be made it won't be just the Head Coach, it will be the whole staff.

Coaches like to bring in Their guys.

So I am asking, who is out there?

Who can come in and right the ship immediately?

With 7 games left and only being 1 game out of 1st place, I don't see a change until after the season.

Would sure like to know some names so I can look into what the new regime will look like.

Kyle Shanahan is doing good things. You could see if Norv Turner is really done or not as OC. I'd certainly like to see Kevin Greene and his passion back on our sideline.

I am just absolutely pissed at the lack passion on this team.

No matter how bad things are there is no chance of a coaching change after this year. Unless of course Mike and Ted get into some kind of a heated argument but the odds of that are pretty remote.

Ted loves continuity and stability. Mike has 2 years left on his contract. He stays unless Ted is canned too and he also has 2 years left. Mark Murphy is going to look at the books. GB is profitable. Probably more profitable today than they have been at any other time. He is going to ask himself why change? Are people going to stop buying tickets or merchandise? The answer is no. Are there going to be protests outside the offices at 1265? No.

There is no incentive on his part to let Ted go. There is no incentive on Ted's part to let Mike go.

Although I think there is an argument for an entire new coaching staff, I think Capers has to go first and see how things play out.

Unless an amazing coach falls into the team's lap , I think we are 1.5 seasons away from the post MM era. I actually like MM but I think he has made too many incorrect answers with the hard decisions (for example, benching AR for a half) this past two years.

Winning matters most to the Packers brass and that's why we will eventually see changes if the team does not "right the ship". To think that because the Packers have a profitable year means the downward trajectory will be acceptable is naive, in my opinion. My rationale for that thinking is if the Packers win the Super Bowl fans will be more apt to attend games and purchase Division, Conference and Super Bowl merchandise than if the team goes 8 - 8 and misses the playoffs. Even if the Packers are money driven, that's all the reason for a change if the team continues to pay like someone pissed in their cheerios week-in and week-out.

If they stay on this path and finish the season at .500 or below I could possibly see a change then ( I doubt it though) but I would bet everything I own that they won't change mid season.
Ted Thompson won't even go out and get a decent RB what the heck makes anyone think he would dump his coach.

It would be nice to snatch Mike Patricia from the Pats before the emperor retires and he takes over. Probably very difficult though.

I don't see anything happening in season. There isn't really anyone out there right now who is worth making a move for and nobody really promising on our current staff worth bumping up anyways.
