Breaking: Scott Signs With Jets

Free agent linebacker Bart Scott has just finalized a multi-year contract with the New York Jets, sources close to the situation have just informed the National Football Post.

A seven-year veteran out of Southern Illinois, Scott had 82 tackles and 1.5 sacks in 16 games for the Ravens last season.

Read alot about this. Apperantly it was already pretty clear that either Ray Lewis or Bart Scott was gonna go there and the other would most likely stick with the Ravens.

I do think it's a shame though, I'd like to have had Scott here, although it wasn't that important to me that they signed him. We're ok at ILB, or at least, I hope we are.

Curious. Lewis has made some comments about always wanting to be a Cowboy. And has seemed to upset many people. Will the Ravens be loosing the center of their LB corp?

Rich Cimini, of the New York Daily News, reports unrestricted free-agent LB Bart Scott (Ravens) has called the Baltimore Ravens to give them a chance to match the offer he has received from the New York Jets, according to a source.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
