WR Jared Abbrederis, S Chris Banjo placed on injured reserve

This caught me off guard. I thought they're be changing the positions up some, and getting at least one healthy players at a position that was short on healthy players.... but instead they just bulked up the two deepest positions again.

But I guess they thought they were the best players they had, and maybe the most physical athletic types for STs.

And Packers signed WR Dez Stewart to the PS and have two PS spots open (at the moment).

Maybe Allison will be the new blood that will put a shock in the Packers passing game we need.

They activated another S!?

I guess that means Don Jackson's hand is ok?

Our definition of safety is:
"defender that can't cover man to man as a CB, can't tackle as a LB, can't plug a hole as good as a DL, plays some special teams and is a potential liability in zone coverage"

Guessing everyone has forgot about Special Teams.

Guys get injured, they are replaced by guys on the roster who's main job has probably been special teams.

Guys promoted will probably be special teams players.

Allison might be the exception, wouldn't mind seeing him help stretch the field a few times a game.

Don't think special teams are important?

Just look around at what happened over the weekend.

WEAKNESSES Below average deep threat. Rare to see him run a go route past a cornerback and make himself an open vertical target. Lack of deep speed allows cornerbacks to sit on underneath routes. Ohio State cornerbacks ran his routes all day long. Focus drops an issue this year. Had drop rate of just over 11 percent this year. Play speed into routes needs to improve. Hip stiffness prevents him from sinking hips into breaks. Below average acceleration out of breaks. Too often crowds himself against the boundary.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
