This game is huge for so many reasons.
To keep everybody off Arods back so the pressure he's under is not greater than beyond belief (which is plenty).
To put the Vikings in a hole having to face Indy the next week. Starting out 0-2 could put them right back on the "here we go again" bandwagon.
I hope we beat the crap out of the Vikings. It could happen too.
I don't see one guy they have behind their DL that starts for us other than maybe one Lb (Greenway) and Pickett , Jolly, and Kampman aint no rubber stamps either. Speaking of Pickett, he is the guy that steadies our run defense. He has a total understanding of what his role is for our run defense to work.
He will be huge for us in this game.
We need to get to TJack when he goes back to pass and I expect we will see a couple of wrinkles that we have yet to see. Just a hunch.
I don't see a real pretty game by any means but if Pickett can keep Jolly settled down and staying in his lanes there will be very few scoring opportunities for the Vikes.
Huge, huge game for the Packers and Arod. The biggest opener since BF got here. What makes this an even bigger game is how huge it is for the Vikes as well.
You won't have to turn the volume up too awful loud to hear how hard people are getting hit Monday Night. That's for sure.
