If Randall cant go or has to come out, it’s gonna be Hawkins=Time.

The guy can track; but will likely have problems with complicated zone principles and maybe even have trouble with simple passing off in straight forward zone situations. Although Hawkins looked like young outside CB Charles Woodson on the play before giving up long TD, when he passed his man off to Brice and came flying up to make tackle on RB that caught pass in flat.

The Key is to allow Hawkins do what he does best: track and cover! And to have him focus on one guy and cover him. The man he should cover is OBJ. Very early they need to have definitive safety help and shading ILB help for slants and in routes, so Hawkins can concentrate on climbing inside OBJ’s jersey w/o fear of getting beat deep or across middle. Getting shut down by a no name UDFA “loser” will freak OBJ out. After Giants make adjustments at half time, in the second half they can let Hawkins play with less help.

Only problem is after Hawkins’ all pro performance Sunday night; the Republicans might draft Whitt to replace Trump in Pres. Election.

Not sure if Hawkins is next man up.

Gunter has been playing pretty damn good.

Hawkins may be inserted in the nickle and dime situations, but I think you will see Gunter and Rollins as the 2 starters.

Whoever it is, they all got valuable playing time against The Lions.

Mistakes were made, but in the end it was a Packer victory.
