Pressley to be released

In Packersnews article "Waters moves to CB" they said Pressely will be released.

Who will be added: Spiller? Knighton? Browner [Hope not for what this could mean about Shields]?

Maybe a claim will be made on CB KeiVarae Russell.

Or the usual Ted: Just some guy from P.Squad is promoted [maybe because someone is trying to raid us] and some random guy we never heard of is signed to P.Squad.

Think we need another DB for a while, so we bring up one of the DBs on the squad for insurance and try to get Pressley back on the squad to take their place?

There aren't any CBs on the PS to bring up and that is where the injuries sit at the moment with Shields and Hawkins hurting. Bringing up a safety doesn't help much even after moving Hyde to #3 or 4 CB. I'd expect another DL or RB (Don Jackson?) on the roster and try to hold on until the CBs are healthy or Goodson comes back. This may also signal that Janis is close to resuming the KR spot.

Bengals claimed KeiVarae Russell; he almost made it to us.

I guess now they go and sign Robertson Daniel back.

Dont see any corresponding roster move. I thought this meant the 53rd would come off the P.Squad.

But so far no roster move. I think the rule still exists that to have a guy on P.Squad for a third year, the roster must be at 53 the entire time. If Ted goes with 52 today, I'm thinking we'll need to kick Bradford off the P.Squad.
