Ok here we go again with this allegedly (in)famous column after each game.
The glass half full:
- Randall Cobb: He played with heart even as a RB, got hit a lot and always came back. Terrific effort.
- Ha Ha CD: He saved a TD and was very active. He is always good in hot climate a trend that continues.
- Lane Taylor: This goes in extension to the whole OL, great game, solid. Rodgers wasn't hurried or touched. Impressive against a very good defense.
- Jordy: Our favorite play: 'just throw it towards Jordy' is back and it works!
- Ryan and Martinez: Very nice game with more ups than downs. I like this duo in the middle.
- The DL: Absolutely nullified the RB of the Jaguars, they got under 50 yards at home in a close game.
The glass half empty:
- Journalists that said we have a great secondary. They have to stop drinking, it only takes 12 steps.
- Morgan -the horror- Burnett: He could have cost us the game. Enough said.
- Randall and Rollins: Always late, always burned, torched, it wasn't a disaster because Jacksonville is Jacksonville.
- The Jaguars: 4th and 1 and you run that play? Thank you very much friendly cats with a swimming pool!
It was a difficult game, I don't buy the Jaguars argument yet, they seemed to be horrible as usual. It was hot and we were playing away, we did what we had to do. Bring on the Queenies.
