I like the idea but I don't see it happening.

I don't like the idea of having 2 running backs on your active roster, but if we're sure we can get a guy on the PS, then I'd be cool with it I guess.

It definitely feels odd but look at it this way. Even with all the problems and injury with our RBs last year our 2 #3RBs managed a total of only 13 carries between them.

I'd expect if we keep 2 RBs on 53, the general strategy would be to keep 2 on Practice squad assuming there are 2 PS worthy.

No team, including GB, saw Crock or Burks as being worthy for their 53, because no team saw them as a late pick or priority UDFA [we signed them for 5K and 1K respectively]. To date I cant imagine Crock or Burks has put anything on tape that has changed their opinion of these 2 backs. We'll get both on practice squad, if they are cut.

You were right.
It makes a lot of sense because we never use the 3rd RB if both Lacy and Starks are healthy.
Furthermore Starks is only playing a few snaps.
