Perhaps the Green Bay Packers are just as excited to have a tight end with a potential skill set to help a passing game that was inconsistent throughout 2015. They hope former Ram Jared Cook will provide the potency at tight end they have not had since Jermichael Finley, and they signed him to a one-year deal.
"It's a great place to play football. That's all you need to do from August to February is focus on football," Cook told 620 WTMJ's Greg Matzek on Sports Central Wednesday.

Cook said he was initially working on a two-year deal with the Packers before agreeing to the one-year contract.
"I'm willing to put in the work this year," he said.
"Once I get in the system and know the coaches, work with Aaron, build up a repore with him, that one year deal can turn into something else and a very special place."
