Packers sign DE Ray Drew

The Green Bay Packers have signed DE Ray Drew. The signing was announced Monday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Drew, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound first-year player out of the University of Georgia, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Miami in May 2015.

Well free agency is over in Green Bay. Hope this signing has some type of impact...Come on Draft!!

I thought this guy was worth a draft pick last year, so I can't complain about this signing at all.

Probably just another rotation guy of the Mike Neal sort, but probably saves a few hundred thou of cap $$ if Neal goes elsewhere😁.

And Ted Thompson makes a huge splash in free agency. I suppose we should just be thankful that Mike Daniels and Mason Crosby are still Packers.

It's always possible for a prospect to make it against all odds, but bouncing around between being a camp body and PS member for three teams in your first year in the league usually doesn't bode well.
