What kind of compensation will the Packers get in 2017?

hopefully Rollins and Randall continue to improve upon their rookie seasons (unlike heyward).

No way to know the compensation as playing time/production is also taken into account.

I don't know the Chargers, or their draft prospects, so we can probably get a better idea closer to the season.

We'll get another 4th for him next year, unless he would get injured.

Congratulations to Casey for cashing in. Too bad he had a few injuries that hindered his development in GB. I thought he got a little buck-shy with his tackling nursing his injuries; not completely full on TNS, but he shied away from contact.

$5M/yr for Perry or $5.1M/yr for Hayward I am not sure we made the right financial investment there.

Sam Shields
Damarious Randall
Quinten Rollins
LaDarius Gunter

Micah Hyde ... wherever he plays.

Some decent depth at Cornerback so it makes sense to retain a player that knows your system on an average contract (per position anyway). Spending $5 million for one year of Nick Perry is better than spending $15 million over three on Casey Hayward. It's just sound football economics to me, I think.

Maybe the staff is confident he could slide into a Edit: Dime role this year. We are also going to add a CB or few at draft time, that's one position we have always been pretty good at finding/developing talent.

6'2 CBs are a nice thing to have.

Btw, you forgot about Goodson. He stepped up this past year in limited opportunities.

Overall I like our guys, but they pretty much all still need to prove they can do it. They're all pretty young.

I really cooled off on Hayward this past year. He can be replaced.
