He'll be the best receiving back the Packers have had in over a decade. The guy still probably has another year in the tank as a three down back. You gotta remember what he has been able to do with a subpar line and the terrible quarterback play. Two years ago, he caught around 100 balls.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. Not like it would cost a fortune.

Absolutely agree. Although I'd rather a free agent TE or ILB. But Forte would improve the Packers running back situation. And Lacy would still have a prominent role. Get rid of Starks and there would still be room for a developmental #3 RB. Forte would look great running those nice Packers screens! Of course all of this is predicated on him taking a low-ball salary. If not, then move on.

Forte opens up the field even if his lined up in the back he can be dangerous. Has amazing hands, how many times has he burned us?

I would be stunned, shocked, and astonished if Ted Thompson pulled the trigger on M.Forte or any other non-Packer free agent.

Adding Forte would of been a good pick up but not getting him doesn't make us any worst.
