Jared Cook has been a disappointment in both Tennessee and St. Louis. I'd spend the money elsewhere.

These are the type of FA Ted will go after, will not cost a comp. pick.

Cook and Laurinaitis would be worth looking at.

Don't know much about Chris Long.

Hell The Packers might have a need at all 3 positions, we might see ted go crazy and sign all 3.

I'd take a look at any and all.

Chris long is a good player and could probably do DE in our scheme. Lauranitis isn't really any better than Hawk was and Cook is just awful. I'd take a look at Long for sure though

Sounds like he's a little bit of a head case. "Lacks focus."

Draft profile

Rotoworld :

Cook was a complete non-factor in fantasy football last year, hauling in just 39 catches for 481 yards with zero touchdowns. The 28-year-old never lived up to his ridiculous five-year, $35.11 million contract. He'll join a tight end market that includes Antonio Gates, Dwayne Allen, Coby Fleener and Ben Watson. Nearing age 29, Cook has gone 19 consecutive games without scoring a touchdown.

Bear in mind, he had Nick Foles throwing to him. 🤣

With Reggie Ragland being the only 1st day rated ILB and the probability of him falling to 27 being small, Laurinaitis would seem to me to be the most likely option of theses 3 that Ted would go after.

He is still young enough, plenty of talent, and was a very boisterous team leader in St. Louis.

Never hurts to bring in a veteran player who isn't afraid to be a leader and the young guys can learn from.

The big questions as always.

Is he better than what the team already has or can draft.

Is he affordable?

Could Ted sign him for say 3 years without screwing up the salary cap?

Could be the Julius Peppers of 2016.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.

Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
