Basically right now we have about 60million in cap space in the starting lineup on each side of the ball. I used Raji's last year cap number for NT so that could fluctuate depending on whether Raji sticks around for a reasonable deal.
Now where can we afford to upgrade that won't leave us eating a good size chunk of cap space on somebody not playing. Obviously LT since Bahktiari is not a big contract, I wouldn't expect anything at C with the options we have. Lang? I don't think he is a weakness, but would Taylor or Tretter improve enough to afford to let Lang creating a net gain of about 4-5million to improve another spot? Otherwise only spots financially would really be TE and/or 3rd WR.
Defensively besides not having much invested at ILB, the only position where we could clear some cap space would be Peppers. I don't feel safe at that spot with what we have without Peppers. I don't think we are in tight enough position cap wise to need a restructure from Matthews or Rodgers as this time.
