Trade our top two picks for a guy who has maybe a couple years left in the league? I think you guys are still feeling the loss from Arizona and want to make some reckless moves. Thankfully Ted usually keeps a cool head and isn't swayed by emotional appeals.

Anyone who thinks we're going to draft a Wide Receiver in the first round, or trade away our prized draft picks + cobbs/adams will be sorely disappointed. Having Jordy and Montgomery out for the year made our WR core look pretty bad, with them coming back + Adams hopefully continuing to develop I think Wide Receiver is far down the priority list.

You can go ahead and make the tired comeback of "Oh, our team will be in cap hell for a few years and will suck."

Well at least Aaron Rodgers would have more Super Bowls than Brett. Thompson has already proven he can turn things around from bad to good pretty quickly. It's not like the guys we've been drafting in the first round aside from Randall, Matthews, and maybe Raji panned out anyway.

I'd look to upgrade on any player in red and orange, even if they are trending upward. In addition, I would be concerned with any purple player in italics. These are underachievers.

Coaches as well as staff can sometimes be at fault for poor performance. It should be reasoned however that they are only as good as the players that they have to work with.

WR's need to get open and catch footballs.

Linemen need to block as well as tackle.

Punters need to help provide field position with their kicks.

IMO, Blaming Mike McCarthy for the early playoff departure (again) is like blaming the cook for the tough steak he was forced to prepare. The cook (MM) did not buy the steak, the GM (TT) did. Don't blame Mike McCarthy because Ted Thompson buys poor quality players.

A new GM would suit me just fine.

Coming into 2015, no one would have imagined that WR would be considered a need. I tend to think that is still the case and that drafting one high would be a bit of an overreaction. With Nelson and Montgomery returning and Janis earning more trust and snaps, I think there's too much talent on the WRs corps to have a repeat, especially with Rodgers being unlikely to repeat a down year. IMHO 2015 just happened to be a case of everything that could have gone wrong with the WRs did, between the Nelson and Montgomery injuries and Cobb and Adams struggles. I think we'll be just fine in 2016 with who we have.

I consider ILB and TE to be much higher on the priority list. Maybe OLB too depending on what happens with Peppers.

The 2015 Packer WR's preformed very poorly. While it's true that J. Nelson was out for the season with an injury, the entire production of the WR corp should not rest upon one player. Janis and "Abby" did show promise when they were allowed to play. Cobb and Adams both had terrible seasons, and Montgomery was near invisible. James Jones was at times the bright spot of the passing game.

Trading Cobb / Adams or both to get an A.J. Green, or an Odell Beckham would be worth the player(s) + draft picks needed to make a deal. Don't worry though, Ted Thompson would never have the balls to make a bold deal.

So Draft a WR 1st in the 2016 NFL Draft !

The only WR in the draft that projects it the kind of upside that you're looking for is Laquon Treadwell and trading either or both of Cobb and Adams, even packaged with the #27 pick, isn't going to be nearly enough to obtain a pick that high.
