JEFF JANIS: Established himself as one of the team's two best players in the kicking game. Reckless, nasty and fast. Offensive player with a defensive temperament. Straight-line kickoff returner with an impressive 28.1 average in 18 runbacks. Played 80 of his 175 snaps from scrimmage against San Diego and Arizona in the playoffs when injuries left the coaches without another option. Seized the moment with receptions of 46, 33, 60 and 41 yards in those two games. His nine catches averaged a team-high 24.9 yards, and he dropped just one of 26 targets. His litany of shortcomings — speed is straight-line, body catcher, raw on releases and adjustments — is falling on deaf ears. Must be given the chance in 2016 to prove that he can't play. Grade: C-plus.

He's listing Janis as having ONE drop? We all know that is disingenuous. He should have been close to quite a few more, but wasn't.

AARON RODGERS: This was the worst of his eight seasons as a starter. It was business as usual in the six games before the bye. Tom Clements, his mentor and friend, was calling the plays, and he relished the enhanced freedom at the line of scrimmage. But when the schedule stiffened in Game 7, Rodgers didn't respond. Almost all those beautiful throws of the past disappeared. His deep-ball accuracy, once a strength, went south, too. Ten of the 48 sacks were his fault. He became less willing to stand in and take a hit to deliver the ball. Instead, he began bolting the pocket prematurely, extending plays when they didn't need to be extended. Often times, he made quick throws off his back foot using all arm. His receivers didn't help, dropping 44 passes (four more than '14, slightly fewer than in '10 and '11). At times, he just seemed peeved at his predicament. Instead of rallying the troops, too often he came across as sullen and frustrated. His hard count drew 23 penalties for offsides, and his acute awareness resulted in 13 penalties for 12 men. Early in the season, they were an integral part of the attack. Other than interception rate (1.4%) and rushing (364 yards), his numbers were way down across the board. He also fumbled eight times, his most since '09. All eight came on sacks, and three were run back for touchdowns in Games 15-16. Some quarterbacks lift their teams in adverse times. He didn't. Grade: B-minus.

Even if you don't think he shit the bed on purpose, I think that grade is a little bit generous for Aaron.

I dont see how its disingenuous. For all the shit people around here talked about how Janis cant catch when he got in the games this year he caught the ball. Instead of grasping for dear life to that dumb practice video maybe just evaluate his actual play on the field .

Aaron Rodgers didn't play poorly on purpose. Anyone who thinks that is an uniformed douche. The guy is the sorest of sorest losers and someone would actually opine he was playing poor on purpose? Just shut up, shut the hell up.

I'm excited to see what Jeff Janis can do, but lets keep in mind I was one of the blowhards who was expecting Richard Rodgers to make good progress as well as Davante Adams.

Statistically, Richard Rodgers did make a decent step. He finished 5th in touchdowns, 12th in receptions and a whopping 26th in yards per reception of tight ends with at least 35 receptions. Keep in mind, of his 510 yards, 61 came on the Hail Mary lol

If the Packers can perform some kind of miracle and get him to average around ~12 per reception, he'll be a solid tight end. He easily has the best hands on the team and just as easily the worst feet. Reminds me of Bubba Franks.

When looking at Brady vs. Rodgers you have to keep in mind that Tom Brady is 38 years old. He's 5.25 years older than Aaron. Brady at 32 was much better than the Brady we're seeing right now.

Aaron had a terrible year. The why is up for debate but to say he didn't have a very poor year isn't accurate. Our passing O was the worst since 1987. I would've guessed even longer than that. That was as bad of offense as I've seen since I can remember. I may have forgotten the years there in the early 80's when I was just a kid but no question this offense was the worst we've seen in decades. All because Jordy was out? No.

There is no objective measure that could ever say Aaron was the same as always this year it was just the things around him. He was well below his standard and merely an average QB for most of the season. He was a glorified shovel passer there for a game or two.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Did Clay Mathhews have those two games without tackles because he's butthurt about being put inside? Did Peppers abandon Fitz to go after Palmer because he's secretly still loyal to the Bears?

Plenty of WR drops too, and a lot of really bad ones. Are they dropping the ball to put pressure on Ted and/or Mike?

Bottom line: You can twist any event to fit into your theory. That doesn't make it true or plausible.

Fact is, Aaron has a long history of taking things personally and holding a grudge.
