Well i'm still searching for an article ESPN is reporting that the true A-Rod tested positive for steroids in 2003. It doesn't surprise me when you look at how small built he used to be. They are saying nothing will come of it because it was before the rule was in place for MLB. I just don't understand all this stuff why don't we hear about pitchers on roids? Now i see they are starting to investigate the nfl even more. On another note just how many times can the feds go after Bonds i say just let the crap end already.

In 2003, when he won the American League home run title and the AL Most Valuable Player award as a shortstop for the Texas Rangers, Alex Rodriguez tested positive for two anabolic steroids, four sources have independently told Sports Illustrated.

When approached by an SI reporter on Thursday at a gym in Miami, Rodriguez declined to discuss his 2003 test results. "You'll have to talk to the union," said Rodriguez, the Yankees' third baseman since his trade to New York in February 2004. When asked if there was an explanation for his positive test, he said, "I'm not saying anything."

Heres the rest of the story

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be šŸ™‚ (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Don't say A-Rod on a packer forum without meaning Aaron Rodgers. Threw me off.

The way I see it is baseball is rotten to the core with steroid users. The league system sucks because you one game doesn't matter shit. Plus it's boring.

well, that's just, like, your opinion, man. I like baseball. the problem is that steroids weren't illegal in baseball.

Steroids have been illegal for years. Just because baseball, and other sports just ignored them doesn't mean it was right.

Now looking back, nothing is going to change, so I say let it drop. And concentrate on the future and stop them from now forward.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

Here is what boggles my mind.

When people like Peter Gammons, say that the only way he would vote for McGwire (H.O.F.) is if he admitted that he used steroids. What?

Thats like if I cheated on a test, and my friend ratted on me. Then my teacher says, "I am going to fail you based on these allegations that you cheated; but if you admit to me that you cheated, I will give you an A."

The stupidity in this logic is staggering.

If someone admits that he used steroids, or tests positive for steroids, he should not be in the HOF.

Edit: And BTW, McGwire does not belong in the HOF based on his testimony ("I'm not going to talk about the past.") before Congress. If you think he did not use steroids, then I have some ocean front property in Missouri for sale.

i'm not saying it was right. i'm not saying baseball was above the law. all i'm saying is there was no specific rule outlawing steroids in baseball.

I mean, there is no stipulation in my contract saying that I can't use steroids.

True.......if it wasn't "illegal" at the time, you can't really do much about it now.
Like was already said though, you can go after players from this point forward.
Guys like Bonds and McGuire and Sosa, the way they all bulked up, you have to believe they were using. But you can't do much now. To me it DOES taint what they accomplished though. But thats just my opinion.

According to some people at a certain baseball forum, it is ok for the players to use steroids, because the pitchers were probably cheating too.

Thats a good message to send to our kids. Its ok to cheat in sports, because your opponent probably cheats too. Go ahead and cheat on your wife also, as she has probably been unfaithful as well, so its ok.

Oh, and using steroids doesn't give you an advantage anyway, apparently. That must be why so many players use it. Oh the stupidity.
