I usually dont comment but its absolutely crazy to say that rodgers needs to be traded. He isn't playing his best football but the people around him are not helping either. This team is banged up on offense . Number 1 wr is out, number 1 running back is fat and o line is banged up. Our qb took a nice beating today.
Just look at the Giants game and how they played without their go to guy. It changes a lot of things but i still think we can pull it together.

And how is rodgers an asshole? I love favre but wasn't he the o e that refused to teach rodgers anything? Besides, if anything rodgers is pretty classy. I respect him a lot more after he called out a fan with his racist comment a few weeks ago at home.

But what do you do? If we fired McCarthy tonight, I truly believe he would have another HC job lined up by tomorrow morning. We better have a damn good candidate to take his place as well because look what happened to the 49er's. I get that we have under performed all year, and today's game was truly difficult to watch. Step back, take a deep breath, and think hard. Does McCarthy deserve to be fired after making the playoffs a 7th straight year?

Make no mistake, there would be a lot of top notch coaching candidates lined up at 1265 trying to get an interview.
The 49er's are a screwed up organization, the Green Bay Packers are not.
Ten years is a long coaching career in the NFL to the point of the product becoming stale, perhaps a breath of fresh air would rekindle the fire.
I'm not a believer in making changes just for change sake, but something is clearly wrong in Green Bay.

MM is not getting fired, nor should he.
The topic is almost as dumb as the AR trading.

Every aspect of the Packers looked like 10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound bag, but this is still a 10 win team that was 3:53 from the SB 11 months ago.

"Oh, but this team is NEVER mentally prepared." Well Pittsburgh just "shit themselves" today along with Carolina, New England, and Seattle. All HAD been hot and had something to play for. Lets fire MM so we can pick up those coaches who will be fired today too.

Every aspect was bad? It was 10-0, 1 minute left in half, we had ball at 15 and we're getting ball to start 2nd half. I wonder if you and I were watching the same game.

I saw 52 guys come out FIRED up and brilliantly prepared. Take away Capers' idiotic thinking that Ryan could cover Johnson and the D was brilliant; not Packer '66 brilliant; but playing as well as they can. When an O is bad; typically a successful fake punt or INT at 15 stokes the O. How do you think the second half would have gone; If AR hits the TD or just doesn't get STUPID and it's 10-3 at halftime?

The INT, took the wind from the team's sails and the Starks fumbles trying to do too much was like taking an axe to the main sail; then the entire team gave up.

Focus on the 1st Q of games if you want to see the problem; you can see the plays that have been practiced over and over or scripted. One was a 3rd and 5, Lacy runs on 2nd, all 11 guys jump to Line and are ready to go. AZ is 100% lost, AR has a quick arrow route set up to Adams on right; but AR spends a half an hour setting the protections and changing the protections as AZ is milling around lost. If AR goes to line and snaps the ball, there'd be no pressure, several guys will be open. AR takes his time, AZ gets set, an opportunity is lost, but maybe AR needed the time. But then like Sanchez on his worst day, AR sails the ball over the head of a wide OPEN Adams-wait I thought the receivers were always covered? 😂 I just cant imagine why ANYONE would parrot such a lie.

This is why we dont score in the 1st Q anymore. These scripted plays have the other 10 guys executing typically to perfection and it becomes 100% apparent; who the problem is. This is not about AR just missing a throw; there is no physical excuse; this is AR not mentally prepared to play the effing game and his mates are growing weary of it.

This is a very easy issue: if AR is not reigned-in to play within the offense; MM will lose the team. Three choices presently exist: (1) reign-in AR, like bench his sorry a$$ or something; (2) Cut/trade AR; or (3) get a new coach that can hopefully reign-in AR or that AR will play for.

So much for Clements being the problem with play calling. Once again we see the exact same play calling from McCarthy and refusing to change it when it isn't working. And clearly Rodgers does not have the latitude at the LOS that announcers and media have credited him with having. If he does than he is just as much to blame as McCarthy for the generic plays being run.

I've never been one for calling for McCarthy or Dom to be fired. But some times changing coaches is all a team needs. If Rodgers is a good a QB as we packer fans think he is, he should be good for another coach as well. There is rumor of Sean Payton possibly parting with the Saints, I think he would fit well with Rodgers and this offense.

I am willing to give McCarthy another year, but he has to show next year that he is willing to change and scheme players open, rather than expecting them to beat the guy across from them.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I don't want McCarthy fired. I would love for him to do something out of character or drastic that slaps this team into wake-up mode. I just don't see it and I don't see Ted Thompson overhauling the roster with 'new' ears. Shit, they are allowing teams to trade conditional draft picks now, right?

Maybe we can trade McCarthy.

If we ditch Mike, it sets a bad precedent.

That sends the message that Aaron can have his boss fired, and all he has to do is sand bag the offense and refuse to play in the system, like a petulant child. Is that the message you want to put out there to the rank and file?

What sort of quality coach are you gonna find who would take a job in that scenario?
