After not hearing from him for about 56 hours, I got a call from my son. He made it back to Atlanta this morning. :thumbright:

We made a mad dash to O'Hare and picked him up.
Bagram to Kuwait 4 hours. 2 hour wait. Kuwait to Germany 5 hours. 2 hour delay. Germany to Atlanta 10 hours. 2 hour wait (and almost got bumped.) 2 hours to O'Hare.

He now gets 2 weeks leave. :signcool:

After all that time in Iraq he had to go through Germany aswell? Poor guy.

Anyway, glad he's back. Must be great. I'll follow the rest and say thanks for his services, making the world a safer place and enjoy your time together.
