Another interesting note: 3 HC since the 70's, 6 Super Bowls. Does anyone else find it interesting that the ONE team that doesn't over-react and rip itself apart in the down times has had the most success over the past 30-40 years? Makes one think, especially as all of us froth at the mouth about how our own HC has "one more year to get it done". Food for thought.

Considering the Steelers didn't have a single championship in their first 40 years of existence, to notch 6 in the past 30 years, even as the league has expanded significantly, is impressive to say the least.

Unless we go something preposterous like 0-16 this season, I will NOT be rooting for the dismissal of our coach and GM.

Pittsburgh has had stability with their coaches, because their coaches have been successful. Bill Cowher had 6 winning seasons before his first losing season.

If we have another losing season next year, that would be 1 winning season in 5 years for Thompson. Having stability just for the sake of having stability, doesn't make much sense if you aren't winning games.

I haven't heared Big Ben alot, but he can't be as dumb as VY. I really like VY, he seems to be a good kid, but just looking at his interviews.... I'm glad we got Aaron.

As for all the officiating screw-ups, look at this one. Ofcourse the man is quite biased, but he has some good explanations for most calls.
