What do you think about that?
Aaron Rodgers has been extremely supportive of Tom Clements (his former position coach) in calling the plays. We have also witnessed a lot of little feuds between Rodgers and Mike McCarthy. It's been reported that Rodgers was in a less than stellar mood most of the week and on Friday with an ounce of sarcasm said "what a week its been".
Jason Wilde is not making anything of it, but did note that he doesn't remember the last time he's seen the quarterback and his coach hug it out in the locker room.

Recently when asked about taking back play calling duties, McCarthy said "Frankly I need to shut up" which matches reports that McCarthy has had more influence on the plays being called.
Remember also McCarthy said several weeks ago that he feels "Rodgers is trying too hard" and Rodgers scoffed at that notion?
I think we have a rift (which I opined about a year or two ago as well - Ray Charles noticed too) between our Head Coach and Quarterback.
I'm moderately and cautiously optimistic on this change because I think Clements had only a few chapters of the playbook being used whereas McCarthy will utilize the full playbook.
Let's get it on!!
