gbguy says he would kill for the Packers to have the top three WR of the Steelers. Ignoring trade downs and just using the Packers first pick prior to when each was taken, here is who the Packers took.

2010 6th round 193rd overall: RB James Starks
2010 6th round 195th overall: WR Antonio Brown

2013 2nd round 61st overall: RB Eddie Lacy
2013 3rd round 79th overall: WR Markus Wheaton

2014 3rd round 98th overall: TE Richard Rodgers
2014 4th round 118th overall: WR Martavis Bryant

I'm thinking without James Starks in 2010, Packers do not make it to or win the Super Bowl so even though Brown is superior in talent, I'll pass.
I'm gonna have to take Eddie Lacy over Markus Wheaton too.
Absolutely taking the 6'5" Martavis Bryant over Richard Rodgers.

Who do you take and maybe add some reasoning as to why?

So just by going with draft picks, we would really have no RB or TE?

And is it just those three compared this year to Cobb, Jones, Adams? or longer term getting to consider Jordy as one of our 3?

I don't think any of them would have stopped Kapernick.

The offense was never (up to now) a problem.

Bryant over R. Rodgers is apples and oranges - WR or TE.

I would, however, take Bryant over Davante Adams any day of the week, and I kinda recall Bryant mentioned as a possible Packer pick in that draft, and he was one of those I hoped for.

We would still have Jermichael Finley because Antonio Brown would have been wide open on the play Finley was hurt. 😁

I can play the hindsight card too! 😂 Nah I'm kidding. I think many of us would like a 6'5" tall dude who can run a 4.42 so I believe you would have wanted him pre-draft.

OK Personally, I don't think it would make a difference when you have an Oline that can't block long enough for the 10+ yard routes being called to develop.

I wasn't really thinking about draft picks, but it definitely a good route to take this thread. Without looking at anything other than your post:
Solution: take brown in the 5th, trade up in the 3rd to get wheaton, and absolutely take bryant over rodgers. Rodgers would probably have been there in the 4th anyways.

But seriously, watching the last 2 steelers games this is my determination:

Brown is better than Jordy. Wheaton and Bryant are both much much better than Cobb, and everyone else we have on our roster. Their top 3 is absolutely awesome and I am honestly embarrassed having ever argued that the packers had a top 3 WR corps.

These 3 make our current crew of guys look like they don't even belong in the league. They are head and shoulders above.

Hell, EVEN THEIR FULLBACK makes our WR's look like trash.
