Who did Eddie Lacy upset?

The Packers are clearly searching for answers in their running game, and Friday they worked out former Broncos running back Montee Ball. ESPN’s Field Yates first reported Ball’s workout.

A second-round pick in 2013, Ball was released by the Broncos in the preseason. He had one touchdown run last season.

They're definitely pissed at Lacy.

This whole deal is just to send him the message. He "didn't have a strong week of practice?" Ok then, play Starks and Crockett.

I see Montee Ball as similar to Lacy - a runner who will break tackles and thrive if he has holes to get into the open and up to speed - like he did with the Badgers. However, if there ain't any holes, both often get bogged down and stuck in the backfield. Starks and now Crockett, on the other hand, have showed more ability to jump cut/run to daylight/even reverse field occasionally. That's what is needed with O Line blocking (or the lack of it) like we have.

So, no one has heard anything more about a signing?

why does any NFL team look at any RB from Wisc? The only reason the RB's did anything was because of the one of the best OL's in college football. Name me one Wisc RB that has done anything. Ron Dane? nope. Monte Ball? nope, Melvin Gordon? nope, John Clay? nope. PJ Hill nope, Terrell Fletcher? nope, Bret Moss? nope
