I see Montee Ball as similar to Lacy - a runner who will break tackles and thrive if he has holes to get into the open and up to speed - like he did with the Badgers. However, if there ain't any holes, both often get bogged down and stuck in the backfield. Starks and now Crockett, on the other hand, have showed more ability to jump cut/run to daylight/even reverse field occasionally. That's what is needed with O Line blocking (or the lack of it) like we have.
